Scott Parker got his first point as manager of Club Bruges at the second time of asking with a 1-1 draw at home to Anderlecht on Sunday.

Parker, 42, was sacked by Bournemouth four months ago after a 9-0 defeat at Liverpool and took over the Belgian side on December 31.

Bruges, who face Benfica in the Champions League next month, lost his first game at Genk but took the lead through Casper Nielsen before a Brandon Mechele own-goal gifted Anderlecht a point.

In Serie A, a first-half penalty from Mattia Zaccagni and a late Felipe Anderson strike helped Lazio secure a 2-0 win at Sassuolo before fellow top-four chasers Atalanta hammered Salernitana 8-2 at home.

Atalanta fired five goals past woeful Salernitana in theirst half, with former Everton and Leicester winger Ademola Lookman among the home side’s five different scorers.

Lookman added another in the second half and substitutes Ederson and Nadir Zortea also got on the scoresheet, while Boulaye Dia and Hans Nicolussi scored either side of the break for Salernitana.
