Esteban Solari believes his brother, Santiago Solari, rose to the challenge of being head coach of Real Madrid.
The Argentine was put in charge of Los Blancos last season after Julen Lopetegui was dismissed before he was sacked himself later in the campaign.
"Santi arrived at Real Madrid in a very difficult moment," Esteban, who is currently assistant coach of Argentina's Under-20 side, told Radio MARCA.
"I think he did very well, he had a difficult transition.
"He showed a lot of personality and ability.
"In the end, results matter in football, it's difficult to be in charge, but I feel proud of him."
