Ahead of Juventus' friendly match against Palermo in Perth, Spalletti attended a press conference.
For Juventus, the goalkeeper situation remains a focus, and Spalletti first spoke about Di Gregorio: "He made several commendable saves in the first half against Inter. He was also a bit unlucky with the second goal conceded. Now it's Perin's turn to play, as we had arranged this beforehand. It's not a rotation of more than two games, but rather each playing a half."
Spalletti also discussed Gatti's situation: "Gatti will not start because he's a bit tired. We'll see later if we need him to play. Our plan only allocates 20 minutes to half an hour for him, no more."
Regarding the transfer market, Spalletti said: "Our thoughts haven't changed since the beginning of the transfer window. After these matches, we've also confirmed our previous assessments, so we'll continue on our path."
When asked about Palermo coach Filippo Inzaghi, Spalletti stated: "He will definitely become a top coach, because he was a champion as a player. I also know him well; he's a very humble person who knows how to use his strengths and how to fight to get the best possible results. The players under him have all played in Serie A and are very clear about their responsibilities, so this will be a difficult match."
