This is effectively a replay of the Coppa Italia Final on June 17, which ended 0-0 and went straight to penalties, won by Napoli.

It is also the first time these sides have met this season, because the October 4 trip to Turin was called off due to two COVID-19 cases within the Partenopei.

They were originally docked a point and given an automatic 3-0 defeat for not following the protocol, but that decision was revoked on appeal, so the fixture will be played at a later date.

Juve have won the Supercup eight times, more than any other club, while this is Napoli’s fourth participation and all of them were against the Old Lady.
