Wojciech Szczesny vows to be a 'player worthy' of Juventus No.1 after contract renewal.
"I'm delighted to confirm that I have renewed my contract with Juventus until 2024." says the Polish goalkeeper on Instagram.
“In recent years I put a lot of hard work and sacrifice in trying to become a player worthy of wearing the historic no.1 jersey of this great football club.
“It’s a great feeling,” he said. “It demonstrates that the club has faith in me. I will try to give my best. I always try to approach the games with confidence and without pressure.
“I only like the saves in games I win. I enjoyed the one against Milan at the [Allianz] Stadium or the one from [Atalanta player Mario] Pasalic. My favourite this year was the one from Allan.
“I want to win everything. I will sweat, run and sacrifice to win all the titles. I thank the Juve fans for everything they give me.
“Now I’m ready to push myself even further to create a history to be remembered!”
