Thauvin's agent: There’s nothing with Milan or any other Serie A club

Florian Thauvin’s agent has rubbished speculation that the Olympique Marseille winger is close to joining Milan. “It’s nonsense.”

France Football reported on Monday evening that Milan were on the verge of agreeing terms with Thauvin, who had a price tag of €30-40m.

However, Jean-Pierre Bernes told Le Phoceen: “It’s nonsense, there’s nothing with Milan or any other Serie A club.

“We’re in April and we must not pay attention to the rumours that are circulating: it’s too early to give credit to the rumours.

“That’s also because on one hand, the great Italian clubs work in absolute secrecy and, on the other hand, Milan must resolve their problems before thinking about concluding deals for next season.”
