The 69 teams Haaland has scored more goals than this season

Erling Haaland has scored more goals alone this season than a staggering 69 teams in Europe’s big five leagues.

Haaland has been breaking record after record since his €60 million summer transfer to Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund.

The attacker has already scored an incredible 17 goals in 11 games in all competitions.

This includes 14 goals in just eight Premier League matches, as well as three in two in the UEFA Champions League.

His 14 league goals means that Haaland has scored more times than 14 Premier League sides have managed in 2022-23.

Haaland has more goals than Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as Newcastle, Fulham, Everton, Leeds, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, West Ham, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City.

In Serie A, Haaland has more league goals than 15 teams. He has outscored Juventus and Roma, as well as second-placed Atalanta, Sassuolo, Torino, Fiorentina, Spezia, Lecce, Salernitana, Empoli, Monza, Bologna, Verona, Cremonese and Sampdoria.

He has the same number of goals as Inter, as well as Brighton from the Premier League.

In the Bundesliga, Haaland has more goals than 13 teams. These are his former club Dortmund, Freiburg, Hoffenheim, Borussia Monchengladbach, Augsburg, Leipzig, Mainz, Wolfsburg, Hertha Berlin, Schalke, Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen and Bochum.

In total, that means that Haaland has more league goals than 69 of the 98 teams from Europe’s big five leagues. That is over 70 per cent of the total number of teams from the big leagues.
