Theo Hernandez has backtracked on his decision to not play for the French national team.
The AC Milan left-back, who has represented France at youth level only, had previously opted not to play for the country of his birth and instead tried to obtain a Spanish passport.
"I took this decision in the last few years, what happened is history, [it was] a youthful mistake," Theo told L'Equipe.
"If [Didier] Deschamps calls me up, I will go."
Theo's brother, Lucas Hernandez, has featured plenty of times for France and was their starting left-back as they won the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
"We don't have the same profile, I'm more attacking and he's more defensive," Theo said of his brother.
