Totti reveals that a young version of himself would struggle to remain at Roma

Roma hero Francesco Totti has revealed that a young version of himself “would struggle to remain” at the Olimpico today.

The World Cup winner started and ended his career with the Giallorossi, but admitted that it would probably be a different story if he was in his prime this year.

“Today, a young Totti couldn’t have played at Roma,” he told DAZN. “He would have already been sold.

“He would struggle to remain at Roma for a long period.”

Totti played his last game for Roma on May 28, 2017 and has been working behind the scenes after ending his career as a player.

Now, he looks set to start a new adventure and was questioned about his future as an agent.

“I would like to scout young players,” he said. “Even at my own football academy, I am looking to see if I can find some promising you players.”
