Jonathan David and Dusan Vlahovic scored as Juve won 2-0, with fullback Andrea Cambiaso seeing red late on.
Afterwards, Tudor said: "It was a good match. The first half is always difficult, there's always a different level of tension. Parma is a well-organized team, and it wasn't easy to find space. We were good, patient, didn't concede anything, and waited for the right moment to score.
"I don't even know what Vlahovic will do. I'm happy that they both scored two good goals. David always moves well in the box, and Dusan scored with power and quality. I'm happy to have them, we'll see what happens. There's not much time left.
"The spirit is important, otherwise the changes from the bench don't work as well. The spirit is there, there's a great desire to do and prove it, a healthy group with guys who want to work. Then, when there's this quality, it's nice to coach them, then you need to have solidity, humility, which is the DNA of this club.
"We need to start from there and then add other things. I'm happy, let's see how this transfer window ends and then we'll go even stronger. The first match is always dangerous, we played well and it's a great input for the next ones."

Finally Juve are actually passing the ball and not hoofing it up the field hoping their striker controls & lays it off. They didn’t aimlessly cross balls into the box like last season. They’re actually playing good football and creating convincing chances. Well done Juve. Let’s go!
