29-year-old Adam Buksa joined FC Midtjylland last summer. With 39 games and 15 goals, the Polish striker has a key fbeen figure in the Danish team symbolized by the goal he scored in his debut in Aarhus.
Now Buksa is moving on, as he will continue his career with Udinese Calcio, who finished 12th in the Serie A last season.
"Adam has delivered exactly what we brought him in for: Goals, a winning mentality and a strong international profile. He stepped in and made his mark from day one, and we have great respect for the contribution he has made to FC Midtjylland", says sporting director Kristian Bach Bak and continues:
"For both the club and Adam, the timing is right. He gets the chance to try his hand at Serie A, and we get a deal in place that we are happy with – also from a financial perspective."
Buksa is thrilled that the transfer has gone through and says:
"It has been an intense year – many matches in the Superliga and in Europe. Of course we didn't win the championship or get into the Champions League, but I still look back on a good year both personally and for the team with many great experiences. I have enjoyed my time in Midtjylland, and I am very satisfied with the choice I made a year ago", says Adam Buksa
