Union Berin defender Leonardo Bonucci is taking legal action against former club Juventus.
Bonucci left Juve last month for Union Berlin after being stripped of the club captaincy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says he has decided to take his former club to court for the treatment received in preseason.
Bonucci is seeking compensation for professional and image damages due to the alleged lack of adequate conditions to train and prepare. Juve left him out of their squad, allowing him to train at night or at different times than his teammates, without ever meeting Max Allegri's coaching staff.
He also could not access the gym, swimming pool, and restaurant: despite having asked several times to be able to return to work with the rest of the squad.
Bonucci clarified that the eventual amount he would win from the trial would be given to the Neuroland association, which supports the families of children hospitalized in the neurosurgery department of the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin, and to Live Onlus, which through auctions of material belonging to high-level athletes, acquires and donates defibrillators for sports societies, schools and town councils.

Bonuci leaving Juventus and signing for AC Milan is one thing that Allegri didn't forgive Bonucci for, hence the reason for letting him unceremoniously.

I see change in football those days past because when a player become old or don't like before, people start to criticize for his performance in the pitch and forget about his legacy in the time he was strong. it happens in many clubs not Juventus alone.

Bonucci lost me now. A club legend should never sue his club no matter how things ended between them.

I didn’t expect them to treat him like that at all, and he is in his right to sue them
