Inter are still suffering from a reduced midfield, with three players out injured and two more in a precarious physical condition, according to a report from today's paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how Borja Valero, Roberto Gagliardini and Stefano Sensi are all out injured, with none of the three travelling with the squad to Udine. Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Ghanaian wing back Kwadwo Asamoah both travelled with the squad to Udine, but neither of them are likely to start.
Brozovic is certain to start on the bench, the report continues. The 27-year-old is still feeling some ankle pain and only partly trained with the squad twice this week. The Nerazzurri don't want to take a risk with him considering that the Milanese derby is next weekend.
Antonio Conte is set to start Matias Vecino, Nicolo Barella and new arrival Christian Eriksen in today's game, the report adds. The 27-year-old Danish midfielder made his Inter debut against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia earlier this week and will earn his first league start today. Young French talent Lucien Agoumé will be on the bench.
