Simone Verdi’s agent has denied speculation linking the Napoli winger with a shock return to Milan on deadline day.
Sportitalia reported on Thursday afternoon that Verdi had been offered to Milan, despite the 26-year-old only joining Napoli from Bologna last summer.
However, Donato Orgnoni told PianetaMilan: “I’ve never talked to Milan. For Napoli he’s not for sale.”
That was quickly echoed by CalcioNapoli24, which maintains the Italy international is not for sale, although it does note the Partenopei have received enquiries.
The 26-year-old began his career at Milan but has played just nine times for Napoli this season due to injuries and competition for places.

that was mistake from Milan to let him go in the first place 😔 they should have at least buyback option or something and same go for Cristante too and now Locatelli will leave for good if Sassuolo active his buy option 😤.
