Zinedine Zidane has reportedly rejected the chance to return to Real Madrid, keeping Juventus in the running.
El Chiringuito claimed last week that Zidane agreed to coach Madrid next season, but El Pais insists that is not the case.
The latter explains Blancos President Florentino Perez asked a club employee to contact the Frenchman, but his response was ‘negative’.
Neither Perez nor his right-hand man Jose Angel Sanchez made the call as their relationship with Zizou would have ‘deteriorated’.
More importantly for Juve, El Pais writes they have ‘formally’ offered the 46-year-old a contract to replace Max Allegri until 2022.

if Zidane really rejects the move then it's the best thing for him, obviously his success at Real Madrid for 2½ years was extraordinary and going back he will be expected to replicate that and that will be impossible he was a genius, tactical and hard working to land those 3 consecutive UCL titles but let's be realistic Lick played a huge part in it and also having someone who is so hungry to score and a team that can feed cr7 helped a lot so going back will be suicide, the team has changed a lot since then and in desperate times like this if he goes back he will only succeed in ruining his legendary status as coach sometimes memories are left for the beautiful times only and sometimes it's beautiful to only have imaginations of how beautiful things could have gone or been instead of forcing it and spoils it with reality in the hearts of Madrid fans now (me included), we can say Zidane was Legendary to our kids he did this he did that in just 2 years imagine him coaching us for 10 years, that will be outstanding and we just hype it instead of us telling our kids, he was successful in his first 3 years and was the best but then he left and came again and he was the worst let's just imagine what could have been instead of him going back and ruining our fantasy with the reality of him failing to replicate his own doings Poch should be top priority instead for Mou Hala Madrid

there is no way Zidane will go back to Madrid or any other team in England because he want to go to Juventus to coach there he has said it before when he was at Madrid that after his time with Madrid is finished he will like to coach in Italy sonic was surprised when some people and the media were saying Zidane is going back to Madrid or England no its only two teams he will like to coach after Madrid is Juventus and the French national team and with Deschamps still having a long term contract with the National team Juventus is the only option for Zidane now
