'Zlatan said he didn't need to be in MLS, that he had €300m and an island'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's former teammates at LA Galaxy saw the best of the Swede on the pitch, but also his worst in the dressing room.

Joao Pedro - one of those ex-colleagues - has lifted the lid on one of the veteran forward's outbursts during his stay in MLS.

"At the end of the game, he gave us a talking to," Pedro told Record.

"He said, 'If you are going to come here to go to the beach or take a walk in Hollywood, just say so.

"I have 300 million in my account, an island.

"I don't need this for anything. The first person who says something to me, I will kill him."

Ibrahimovic's character is well known, and that wasn't the only story Pedro had of his former teammate.

During a training match on Pedro's birthday, a coach said that he would start the game for the day that it was.

"Every day is my birthday," said Ibrahimovic in response, "pass the ball here".
