Arsenal officially announced that 17-year-old goalkeeper Remy Ruginsky has signed his first professional contract.
Rubinsky joined Arsenal last year from Milton Keynes and signed his first professional contract after an outstanding performance for the U18 team in the 2025/26 season.
"It feels great, it's a very proud day for me and my family," Rubinsky said after signing, "It's another milestone, and I can't wait for the new season to start."
Rubinsky's transfer last year was his first since joining Milton Keynes at the age of 7, but the support he received during his adaptation convinced him that Arsenal was the right choice.
"The first few months were indeed tough, but once I settled into the dressing room, my performance on the pitch followed, so everything was great. All the coaches are excellent."
"We have a group of talented teammates. This experience is very valuable. I learned a lot from every game, and I hope to get more playing time in the new season."
Rubinsky hopes to follow in the footsteps of his compatriots Szczesny and Fabianski, both of whom have won recognition in their careers playing for Arsenal and the Polish national team.
"They are very good role models," Rubinsky said of the two, "They are my favorite goalkeepers. It would be amazing to have a career like theirs."
In addition to emulating them, Rubinsky also had the opportunity to learn from current Arsenal players by participating in first-team training, an experience he considers valuable for his development.
"Their professionalism is impressive, they are very professional on and off the pitch every day. They set a high standard for all academy players and let us know what it takes to reach their level."
This signing is subject to the completion of registration procedures.
