Barcelona are sending scouts to the game between River Plate and Gremio to watch a young Argentine player.
Exequiel Palacios, 20, is wanted by different European clubs, among them Barcelona. According to information fro Argentina, this won't be the first time the scouts have watched him - they saw him in the United States with his national team.
Palacios has scored two goals in 15 appearances for River and has become an important player for them. The midfielder is calm and focused on his work but his agent Renato Corsi doesn't deny the interest from big sides. On Tuesday he might meet them in Buenos Aires.
"Loads of intermediaries have contacted me but nothing is sealed. We sit down with River Plate because they want to raise his release clause to 30 million euros," said Corsi. "We have had just one chat and not decided anything."

When he came up, he sort of was, but now his best attribute is his workrate. When I asked a River fan he compared him to Lucho so that's why I said. Besides it's not like Lucho didn't work hard as well.
