The teen's move to Atletico marks a return to Madrid for Humanes, who is a former Real Madrid youth teamer.
Humanes, 18, has signed a contract with Atletico to 2028 and will initially be registered with Ángel Donato's Juvenil A team.
He told Atletico's website: "I'm very happy. I've already met my teammates and the coaching staff, and I feel like I'm part of a family. My dream is to make my debut.
"But I'm focused on competing in the league, the Copa del Rey, the Youth League... We have the team to do it, and now it's up to us to push ourselves and work hard."
