AC Milan director Leonardo could follow Gennaro Gattuso out of the exit door this summer, according to the latest reports.
Things have turned sour for the Rossoneri in recent weeks, with the team having won just one of their last eight games, a run which has seen them slip from fourth to seventh in Serie A as well as be dumped out of the Coppa Italia by Lazio.
Gattuso's position as manager is believed to be under serious threat with a number of rumours already surrounding his potential successor, including the likes of Maurizio Sarri, Antonio Conte and even Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino.
However, a report from il Corriere della Sera suggests that Rino may not be the only high-profile figure to leave the club this summer, as Leonardo is under intense scrutiny too.
The Brazilian formed a new-look board at Milan last summer which included the likes of Paolo Maldini, Paolo Scaroni and Ivan Gazidis.
However, the newspaper claims that the acquisitions he made in the last summer transfer window – which includes the likes of Samu Castillejo, Gonzalo Higuain, Diego Laxalt and Mattia Caldara – have left a lot to be desired.
In addition to this, Leonardo has apparently turned down the idea of being caretaker manager for the final four games of the season, something else which hasn't gone down too well and could jeopardise his long-term future at the club.
