On August 3rd, a report from ESPN journalist Gustavo Hofman claimed that Real Madrid have offered Vinicius an annual salary of €22 million in a contract renewal proposal, but that still falls short of the player's demands.
According to Hofman, after this summer's World Cup, Real Madrid contacted Vinicius' agents and restarted contract renewal talks between the two sides that had been stalled for nearly a year. Compared with the annual salary discussed around two years ago, Real Madrid's current offer has been increased slightly, reaching €22 million.
Even so, that is still well below Vinicius' demand for an annual salary of 30 million euros. The report also states that Vinicius' current contract with Real Madrid expires next June, that the Brazilian currently earns 17.5 million euros per year, and that Arsenal are also closely monitoring the conditions.

My question why would Mbappe earn more than Vini,Vini has done alot more for Madrid than Mbappe, I honestly think Vini rightfully deserves what his asking,time goes by and we seem to forget who Vini is and what he has accomplished at Madrid, If Vini is adamant in his asking price then that simply means Arsenal is offering something more 🤷♂️🤦♂️

He deserves a better pay than that. €30m is not too much to ask. Mbappe earns €35m annually, excluding other bonuses. Why can't they offer Vini Jr something close to that. That guy has really tried for Real Madrid, stepped up when no one couldn't for them and now they're treating him like a kid.

You shouldn't have compared Mpabbe's earning to Vini Jr because Mbappe's earning was the deal before he's been signed from PSG,that's something we need to understand 🙏🏼
