Turkish giants Fenerbahçe are reportedly reigniting their pursuit of Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, setting the stage for a potential high-profile transfer from Italian side Atalanta.

Initially, Atalanta had valued the talented Nigerian international at €45 million. However, with few competitive bids emerging, the Serie A club has now lowered their asking price to €35 million, opening the door for renewed negotiations.

According to reports from Sabah, Fenerbahçe’s management is planning a strategic visit to Italy this week to hold discussions with both Lookman and Atalanta.

The Turkish side is considering a loan deal that would include an option to make the move permanent for the revised €35 million fee.

Lookman, who has been a key figure for Atalanta this season, has featured in 18 matches, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

His versatility, speed, and creativity on the wing have highlighted his potential to make an immediate impact at Fenerbahçe, should the transfer materialize.

With the transfer window heating up, Fenerbahçe fans are eagerly anticipating whether the Nigerian forward will be the club’s marquee signing this season, as they aim to bolster their attacking options in pursuit of domestic and European success.
