Sebastijan Kerkez, father of Bournemouth defender Milos, has claimed that his son's move to Liverpool is a 'done deal'.

Speaking alongside his son on the Super Indirektno YouTube show, Kerkez Sr revealed that the Cherries star has snubbed advances from other clubs and highlighted their unwavering trust in the Reds' sporting director Richard Hughes - who brought the defender to the Premier League during his time on the south coast.

A deal for the Hungarian star is yet to be agreed between the Premier League champions and the Cherries, with Bournemouth believed to be holding out for a £45million fee.

According to Sebastijan, who is also Milos' agent, the deal is all but completed, save for 'some details'.

'It's only Liverpool for us and we're not going anywhere else and we won't talk to other clubs,' sadi Sebastijan. 'Everything is done between us (personal terms) we just need to sort out some details but it's basically a done deal.'

On Hughes, he added: 'Richard Hughes brought us to Bournemouth, if he said we go to India, then we go to India, everything is agreed, just some little things.'

This week, Kerkez's brother Marko shared a post on his Instagram story which suggested that a move to Anfield would be completed swiftly.

The 21-year-old is likely to be the Reds' third signing of the summer following the arrival of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, who is expected to complete his move to Merseyside next week.

The £116million transfer for the latter has required the focus of Anfield chiefs, given the astronomical sums which could see Wirtz become the most expensive player in British history if certain add-ons are met.

Meanwhile, as Kerkez appears to be closing in on a move to Liverpoo, veteran left-back Andy Robertson could be a surprise departure. The Scotland captain was expected to remain with the club and become the back-up to Kerkez, however, reports last week revealed that LaLiga side Atletico Madrid are keen on a acquiring the defender.

Atletico have yet to make a formal approach to Liverpool but have been informed that Robertson is interested in talking to them.

Asked about his future, Robertson - who has one year left on his contract - said: 'I'm not getting any younger - I can't change my age - but I still believe I've got a lot to give.

'We’ve had good discussions, me and the club, but what the future holds, I’m not sure.’
