According to the latest report in The Telegraph, both Manchester United and Newcastle United are interested in Elliot Anderson, with the player's transfer fee potentially exceeding £100 million.
It is reported that Elliott Anderson is poised to become the next English player valued at over £100 million, with Nottingham Forest prepared to take a firm stance regarding his future as the player is set to attract significant interest from numerous clubs during the summer transfer window.
Both Manchester United and Newcastle United have shown keen interest in the England midfielder, with Nottingham Forest stating they will not sell him during the January transfer window under any circumstances.
In July 2024, Forest utilised the Profit and Sustainability Rules to secure Anderson from Newcastle for approximately £15 million, at a time when the Magpies were compelled to sell academy products to raise funds and avoid substantial points deductions.
As part of the deal, Greek international Odysseas Vlachodimos moved to Newcastle for over £20 million, while Elliott Anderson has since emerged as one of England's most promising young talents.
It is understood that Elliott Anderson's five-year contract with Forest contains no add-ons or restrictions, with Eddie Howe confirming on 5 October that there are also no buy-back or resale clauses.
The valuation of the player will be determined by owner Evangelos Marinakis, with the club expected to demand a market price. Given potential interest from several Champions League clubs, Elliott Anderson's valuation could exceed £100 million after instalments.

A player you sold at £15m last season for a reason best known to them 'Newcastle ' and the same player you're fighting to buy back at the higher rates. Clubs should endeavour as a matter of fact to include buyback clauses for any young players
