Italian CEO Michele Criscitiello recently stated that Manchester United have essentially finalized the acquisition of Ederson, with all terms agreed upon with Atalanta.
Journalist Pedullà revealed: "Manchester United and Atalanta held overnight negotiations, with Manchester United increasing their initial offer from €40 million plus €7 million in add-ons to a fixed transfer fee of €47 million to €48 million plus bonus clauses. As for the player, Ederson had already reached a personal agreement with Manchester United a week ago."

Yes — Ederson from Atalanta is exactly the type of midfielder Manchester United should be targeting. Not glamorous. Not flashy headlines. Just a proper modern midfielder. What makes him attractive - engine and stamina aggressive ball winning carries the ball through midfield presses hard tactically disciplined physically strong enough for the Premier League He reminds me a bit of the old-school box-to-box midfielders United used to have — players that actually dominate space and transitions. Some think he’s overpriced with one year left on his contract others think he’s exactly the hard-working profile United lack badly in midfield. Personally, alongside Bruno, he makes far more sense than another luxury attacking player. United have been too easy to run through for years. Landing Ederson and another quality midfielder, that’s a serious structural improvement.

He is not a premier leageu material..Players from Serie A are shit these days..I dont trust them cause there is no football in Italy these days..But he is a good player from what I see and the way he plays is fantastic,I hope he will play like that even in EPL..Its a good move from Man U,atleast they bought a cheap player unlike overpriced EPL players..
