Bruno Fernandes failed to wave goodbye to the Sporting fans and then angrily slapped a camera after what may be his final match for the club.
The Portugal international has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, and is expected to complete the switch before the end of the month.
Fernandes played in Sporting's ill-tempered 2-1 defeat by league rivals Braga on Tuesday night - a match that was marred by a staggering four red cards.
Yannick Bolasie, Jeremy Mathieu and Eduardo Henrique were all given their marching orders for Sporting, while Eduardo Carvalho was shown a red card for Braga.
After the match a frustrated Fernandes was keen to get off the pitch fast.

He therefore didn't hang about to clap the travelling supporters and say goodbye after what is likely to be his final match for the Portuguese club.
Instead, he made a beeline for the tunnel and headed for the changing room.
Fernandes walked past a cameraman on his way there, and decided to lash out, pushing the lens away from him as he stormed past.

Why will he say good bye while club is attaching is agent to be paid with also a clause? Why are agents of this age so greedy and demandful? Your clients (Players) do pay you for your services as their agent, now you still want the club in negotiation to pay you a pay-cut who does that? Nothing even that, you as a players agent still want to add a clause on the player for the future incase the club want to sell! Are you Ok? Sporting as a club should be mindful that Fernandez gave them his life in his entire service to the club. They shouldn't jeopardise what that young man has walked for years for sporting cp. Manchester United has learned in a very hard way since P.Pogbas arrival to the club. His agent has been a torment to the club and United as a club won't take it anymore from any agent be you whatever. There is this guy Manchester want to buy from Birmingham city and we have tabled 30million already. A 16 year box to box great midfielder and his agent did not want to add anything on his head as at now United are waiting for Birmingham response. This is exactly how a deal should be not the other way round. Manchester United want to sign a player and also have a full right of the player in the future not having a players future direct from his agent after paying huge some of money; Is time all the clubs revoke against this and save our darling football game.
