Man Utd transfer: PSG plot Pogba plan, Van de Beek makes future decision

Manchester United are due to announce the signing of Jadon Sancho sooner rather than later with the finer elements of the deal still to be completed.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to bolster his ranks after another trophyless season at Old Trafford.

Moves for Kieran Trippier and Raphael Varane have been touted, with the latter discussing personal terms with the Red Devils.

However United face the threat of losing record signing Paul Pogba as his contract continues to wind down.

The World Cup winner has previously been linked with the exit door and his agent, Mino Raiola, may be keen to seek pastures new.

Here are the latest transfer rumours coming out of Manchester.

PSG devise Pogba plan

PSG are looking to sign Paul Pogba, but they will need to sell before they can press forward with a move.

Le10 Sport cite Marca who claims the French giants are willing to sell nine players in order to fund a move for the World Cup winner this summer.

The Parisians are reportedly ready to listen to offers for Ander Herrera, Rafinha, Julian Draxler, Danilo Pereira, Idrissa Gueye, Thilo Kehrer, Sergio Rico, Layvin Kurzawa or Mauro Icardi.

Pogba cost United £89m back in 2016 and they will be reluctant to take a huge loss on the midfielder.

That said, with his contract winding down, the Red Devils might be backed into a corner regarding his future otherwise they risk losing him for nothing.

VDB eyes Utd stay

Donny van de Beek is ready to turn down opportunities elsewhere and fight for his future at United.

There is growing interest from Italy, Spain and Germany, reports the MEN, after the Dutchman endured a tough debut year.

Opportunities were hard to come by but Van de Beek is determined to prove his worth and remain at Old Trafford.

Sources close to the player have said the 24-year-old is feeling "fit, fresh and ready for the challenge" after missing the Euros.

Van de Beek scored after coming on as a sub on his debut but found himself behind Bruno Fernandes in the pecking order.

A possible Paul Pogba departure however could open more doors for the former Ajax man.

Pereira open to Old Trafford exit

Midfielder Andreas Pereira has stated his willingness to leave Old Trafford.

The Brazilian has been at the club since he moved to their U17 side from PSV Eindhoven in 2012, but during this period he has been loaned out to Granada, Valencia, and most recently Lazio, where he spent all last season.

"I'd like to go back to the Biancoceleste [Lazio] if I was given more time," said Pereira.

"Rome could be my definitive home, I had a great time. I love the style of play and the team spirit that exists in Serie A.

"Lazio have priority in my heart, but your country has won me over, why not come back one day if the opportunity arises?”
