Manchester United are starting to ramp up their efforts in the transfer market after completing the signing of Jadon Sancho for £73million from Borussia Dortmund.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed a new contract the following day to commit himself to the Old Trafford club until 2024, with the option for an extra year afterwards.
The Red Devils still have a lot of work to do in the transfer market, however, and are expected to continue offloading players in an attempt to raise funds.
A move for Real Madrid's Raphael Varane remains United's top priority for the remainder of the window, though the Spanish giants won't let go of him without a fight.
A new defensive midfielder is also on the cards, but they could choose to wait.
United's bid to sign a new striker seems destined to be postponed for a year - in time to enter into the Erling Haaland bidding war.
Here are the latest Manchester United rumours.
United reach Varane 'full agreement'
United have reportedly reached a full agreement with Varane over a move this summer.
Spanish outlet AS reports that the two parties have reached an agreement over salary, with just a transfer fee to be decided.
Madrid are set to demand a fee somewhere int he region of £50m in order to let go of the Frenchman.
However, the fact he's in the last year of his contract means they could be somewhat backed into a corner.
If they don't sell him this summer, Madrid could risk Varane signing a pre-contract agreement with United in January and leaving for free in a year.
Varane is said to be eager on the move, and wants to try his hand in the Premier League.
Sancho's Haaland hint
The Sancho transfer saga is finally over, with the English winger confirmed as a United player.
However, he isn't the only player United are looking to bring in from Borussia Dortmund.
Norwegian striker Haaland is next on their wish-list from the German side, due in part to his release clause.
Haaland will be available for just £68m next year, and United are set to enter into the race to sign him.
Sancho formed a strong bond with Haaland during their shared time at the Signal Iduna Park, and it seems the United new-boy wants his old team-mate to join him at Old Trafford.
Writing in a comment on Instagram, Sancho wrote: "A connection like no other, we will soon meet again brother. Take care and good luck to you too."
Dalot pushing for move away
United are set to offload fringe players this summer in order to raise funds for their remaining targets.
One of those players, Diogo Dalot, is said to be eager to leave on a permanent basis after spending a year on loan at AC Milan.
The full-back, who was tipped for greatness after being signed by Jose Mourinho back in 2018, has never really found his feet at Old Trafford, and played more league games for Milan last year alone than he has done in his time at United.
Now, Dalot is said to be eager to return to the San Siro for next season at least, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport.
Milan are bracing themselves for a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for left-back Theo Hernandez, and could be forced into the transfer market for a replacement.
Dalot has the ability to play on either flank, and is unlikely to oust either Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Luke Shaw at Old Trafford.

Haaland will only come to United if we win the title this season. Getting him and Rice next season will be a huge win for United
