Juventus could reportedly turn to long-time transfer target Thomas Meunier if Joao Cancelo leaves this summer.
According to Calciomercato.com, Cancelo’s future at Juve hinges on whether or not Coach Max Allegri stays.
The website claims Allegri is not overly impressed with the right-back’s defensive capabilities, preferring Mattia De Sciglio in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Meunier is said to be on the list of names that could exit Paris Saint-Germain this summer, and Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici has apparently contacted the player’s agent.
The Bianconeri made enquiries about the Belgian’s availability last season after it became clear Stephan Lichtsteiner would quit.
The 27-year-old has failed to hold down PSG’s right-back berth since arriving from Club Brugge in 2016 and is described as being a fan of Italian football.

Joao Cancelo does not get along well with Massimiliano Allegri. But the Juventus board is split about whether Allegri should stay at the club or not. It will go a long way in determining Cancelo's future. Juve will want a fee of around 60 million euros.

Allegri doesn’t get along with any great players. He only gets along with useless players like Mandzukic and de sciglio. Soon enough he won’t get along with Ronaldo anymore. Juventus management should wake the hell up . Because this was the same thing Allegri did with AC Milan. Cancelo is one of the best defensive player in the world and any coach that doesn’t get along with him, definitely sucks and Allegri is useless. Allegri wants de sciglio.. this’s Juventus dying slowly it Allegri stays .
