Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce are reportedly eyeing up a stunning move for Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford.
The 27-year-old is thought to be available for around £40million and is set to leave Old Trafford this summer, with Barcelona his preferred destination.
Rashford's agent has held meetings with Barcelona chiefs but there has been little concrete interest forthcoming from the Nou Camp, while Bayern Munich and Juventus are also reportedly interested in the England international.
And Fenerbahce are now also trying to sign Rashford, according to The Sun.
While reports in Turkey claim that Mourinho's side are willing to meet Rashford's £40m valuation, persuading the forward to move to Istanbul would appear more tricky.
A deal would see Rashford reunited with former Man United boss Jose Mourinho, who managed him between 2016 and 2018.
It would also be a huge coup for Fenerbahce, who finished in second place in the Turkish Super Lig, 21 points behind champions Galatasaray, last season.
Their league finish means they will compete in next season's Champions League, albeit via qualifying rounds, unlike United, who missed out on European competition for just the second time in 35 years.
Rashford was among five players, alongside Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, who were given extra time away from Carrington to explore moves away from Old Trafford when the rest of the squad returned for pre-season last week.
But since their return the club have made sure that they don’t come into contact with head coach Ruben Amorim or their team-mates.
Rashford took up the option to use the facilities at Carrington as long as he wasn’t there at the same time as Amorim and the squad.
The England forward came into work with the club’s fitness staff on several occasions last week, and was joined by Garnacho on Thursday when only the Under-10s team were at Carrington.
Rashford has been at United since the age of seven but said in December that he was 'ready for a new challenge'.
He then spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa, scoring four goals in 17 games. However, Villa decided not to sign Rashford permanently at the end of that loan spell.
He is still under contract with United until June 2028 and is understood to be earning in excess of £300,000 per week.
Juventus are now reportedly 'accelerating' plans for the United exile, although his wages could prove to be a stumbling block.
Meanwhile, Mail Sport previously reported that Barcelona were keen to agree to a loan for Rashford that would in part see his parent club subsidise a portion of his wages.

If Rashford join Jose Mourinho's team, it will be the end of his career. Many footballers have seen their career nose-dive under Jose Mourinho.
