Arsenal fan here. I feel Arsenal should be taught another lesson again by dragging this so long. They haven't learned from their Chelsea hijack mistake in the past.

United is a sinking ship who have no shame any more by going back to a player who have publicly rejected them. Is this how abysmal how United have fallen? Gyokeres continue to prefer Arsenal and have not hidden his intentions and United are going about disgracing itself and supporters. The player wants champion league football and United can't even offer a Conference league football. The giants of yester years have really fallen and the sooner they realize it and face it, the better for them and their supporters. I really sympathize with United at this point as no good players want to join them at the moment. First it was Liam Delap, then Gyokeres, next Ekitike, Osihmen and the list goes on. Perhaps Nicholas Jackson may consider them if they try but no guarantees. The giant has really fallen and the management seems confused with the Coach not helping matters by chasing away her good players with no better ones in sight as replacements. Another below average performance and possible relegation battle is loading. This is the bitter picture ahead.

Sporting’s proposal for the add-ons follows a specific format: €2.5 million after Gyokeres makes 20 appearances for Arsenal, another €2.5 million after his next 20, an additional €2.5 million if the Gunners qualify for the Champions League, and a final €2.5 million for 20 appearances in the subsequent season. Arsenal’s hesitance revolves around the ease with which these triggers could be met, as they want at least one of these milestones to be more demanding. While the add-ons continue to be a point of contention, the primary transfer fee itself has already been settled. Arsenal and Sporting have reached a verbal agreement on a base fee of €63.5m (£55m/$74m). This amount was finalised after Gyokeres' agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, opted to relinquish his 10% share as an intermediary, a move that simplified discussions over the guaranteed part of the payment. Yet without consensus on the bonus structure, the deal remains in limbo.
