On August 20, Italian journalist Schira reported that former Inter player Acerbi has been recommended to Bologna.
Acerbi, 38, became a free agent after his contract with Inter expired in June this year. Previously, Acerbi had been linked by the media with Al-Hilal, coached by Simone Inzaghi, but his family reportedly did not want to leave Italy.
Now, according to Schira, Acerbi, who has not yet found a new club, has been recommended to Bologna.
