Some part of the management of Barcelona believes that Thierry Henry has the profile to take the charge in case Valverde leaves, claims the Spanish press Diario Sport.
The situation of Ernesto Valverde in the bench of the FC Barcelona is more discussed that never. After two deafening failures in the two last editions of the Champions League and a very irregular first-half of the present season, the technician extremeño is again in the eye of the hurricane, as already it was it before the past summer.
Along the last months have gone out several names to the palestra like possible substitutes of the Txingurri in the bench of the Camp Nou. The one who has won more strength is the one of Ronald Koeman, ex Barcelona and current footballer technician of the Dutch selection. Even it arrived to go out to the light a clause of leakage that has in the combined Dutch if it receives a proposal of the Barca.
Another big candidate has been Erik Ten Hag, trainer of the Ajax. The past season, achieved the 'doublet' with the team of Ámsterdam and turned it into the big disclosure of the Champions League, arriving until the semifinals and remaining taken down of the final by an agónico goal in the last sigh. His philosophy of the game, as the one of Koeman, fits to perfection with the one of the Barca.
The newspaper Sport aims in his edition of this Monday a third candidate to relieve to Valverde: Thierry Henry. The French, mythical ex-footballer of the Arsenal with a brief but successful go through the FC Barcelona -won a sextete- to the orders of Pep Guardiola, would be seen as a good alternative by a sector of the directive in case that the Txingurri do not follow.
"It likes Henry", titles the media quoted previously in his cover, punctuated that, "a sector of the board of the Barça thinks that gives the suitable profile in case Valverde does not follow". From the past month of November, the French trains to the Montreal Impact -where coincides with Bojan Krkic- whereas in the past trained to Monaco in an adventure in which it did not have good results.
Thierry Henry coincided two years with Pep Guardiola in the Barça and in numerous occasions has recognised that remained very marked by the Catalan technician and that it wants to be a trainer of the same style. The advantage of the French is that it knows part of the changing room and also the philosophy of game culé, by what could be an option very to take into account.

I can't belyv that guys here are blaming Monaco disaster on Henry. You guys are so unfair...its just like blaming Arsenal failure on Ljungberg. I beg you start seeing things subjectively. Monaco had no future and/or life by the time Henry took over. The only best thing he could is to bring in a few good players like Farbregas to try to fix things...the team was already hell...just like Arsenal now. How can u blame Arteta that he has failed Arsenal!! I personally think that Henry needs a bit of a better opportunity to prove himself. All of u here think PEP is the best coach in the world...well, i would love to see him manage teams like Monaco and see him doing some bit magic. All i have seen is him managing cream all through...Guys like Alliegri turned down the Arsenal offer just because they new Arsenal had no future and it would instead ruin their profile and CV. Such guy is still regarded as one of the best managers yet he clearly showed the world that he would only love to manage clubs with very good players. If your a good manager then i would expect you to take on the challenge of trying to bring back a collapsing team to glory. The only mistake i can put on Henry was accepting to take on a collapsing team..i think if he had said no, guys here would hail him just like Alliegri..
