Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Birmingham City striker Che Adams, according to TEAMtalk.
Adams was heavily linked with Burnley in the January transfer window, and the Mirror claims a host of Premier League clubs – including Manchester United, Watford and Arsenal – watched the 22-year-old against Bolton Wanderers earlier this month.
In total, Adams has scored 19 goals in 32 Championship appearances so far this season. He had only previously reached double figures once; bagging 11 League One goals for Sheffield United in 2015/16.
TEAMtalk believes Spurs have joined the list of clubs interested in Adams, as have Everton, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of young English players in recent months. It is believed the Londoners are attempting to increase their home-grown quota, so a move for Adams would make sense.
What's more, Spurs could be in need of a new striker to provide cover for Harry Kane if Fernando Llorente doesn't extend his contract this summer.
A young English striker like Adams would be ideal, but would he be happy to sit on the bench most of the time?

There isn’t classic winger and you won’t have that wide pitch. You must put there someone instead of coutinho or dybala

Adams would be a huge loss to Birmingham City, cannot sign players and a big points deduction looming.

If he wants to go let him go, he can single handedly solve our financial problems. He has given 100%. If he wants to stay and develop further then please stay. Dont settle for being substitute if you want to play He is better than that. We cant stop him fulfilling his potential

Well he's a young, english forward. Definitely moving in the summer. Knowing the index maybe £2.50-£3 if he maintains his form. Post SS by 4 maybe £1 by the summer??

Honestly, it wouldn’t really have helped. We also couldn’t replace him. We don’t need the money. It would have been a lose-lose situation.

May as well keep him and then sell for more in the summer when he’s scored over 20 goals.

As much as Blues would obviously have wanted to keep him, would this have helped them with FFP?

Blues don't need to sell him.

Worth a punt because if he can then his value would rise too 20-30m easily with a potential to get 15/20 goals a season. Saints got 10.5 for Gabbi a 5m addition to buy Che is got to be worth a go as he couldn't do worse than Gabbi, Long, Boufal or Carrillo all of which we paid more for and are all on more than the 35k Che wants.
