In another eventful day on pre-season tour in Miami, Real Madrid announced their opponents for the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy - a competition in dedication to the club's long-time president - which will take place on August 11.

The fixture, in what is the 38th edition of the competition, is set to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the third European Cup by facing Milan in a friendly match days out from their UEFA Super Cup match against Atletico Madrid.

In many ways, the match will be historic as it brings together two of Europe's most successful clubs with a total of 20 European Cups between the two outfits, with the Rossoneri having won seven in their history.

Coincidentally, Diego Simeone's side also have a friendly match on August 11 in which they will take on Milan's cross-town rivals, Inter, in preparation for their stoush against Julen Lopetegui's men four day later.

Over in Miami, one Spanish sporting legend was in attendance as Los Blancos continued pre-season training at Hard Rock Stadium.

Former world No. 1 Arantxa Sanchez Vicario was seen watching on as the reigning European Champions were put through their paces before later departing alongside Emilio Butragueno with the tennis champion requesting the club to allow for the return of James Rodriguez.

The multitude of Colombian fans and journalists who were also in attendance during session demanded Florentino Perez to bring back their nation's star player.
