Midfielder (18) signs his first professional contract

18-year-old Jessey Sneijder has signed his first professional contract with FC Utrecht. The attacking midfielder is now tied to Utrecht until mid-2028. His contract also includes an option to extend the partnership for another year.

Jessy Sneijder transferred from DHSC to the FC Utrecht Academy. The talented midfielder played for FC Utrecht Under 19s in the 2024/2025 season. He recently transferred to Jong FC Utrecht, with which he will play in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie next season.

"This is a dream come true," says Jessey Sneijder. "Since joining the FC Utrecht Academy, I've worked hard to reach this moment. Signing my first professional contract feels like a reward, but also the start of a new step. I want to continue developing and, first and foremost, play as many minutes as possible with Jong FC Utrecht next season."
