Bale's agent suspended and fined £50k by the FA

Gareth Bale's agent has been suspended for three months and fined £50,000 by the FA after attempting to sign an underage player.

David Manasseh, who is the managing director of Stellar, represents a number of high-profile players including Bale, Luke Shaw and Kieran Trippier.

Charges were brought after it was alleged that Manasseh negotiated a contract with a player before his 16th birthday.

He has been fined £50,000 and suspended from all football-related activity for three months.

The FA states that 'direct or indirect approaches' between players and agents can't be made before the first day in January of the year of the player's 16th birthday.

Manasseh denied the charges but was found proven at a hearing.
