Hakan Calhanoglu has officially signed for Inter after leaving Milan as a free agent, accepting €1m more wages per season.
The deal runs to June 2024 and is believed to be worth €5m per season plus performance-related bonuses, he had rejected the proposed €4m plus add-ons per year salary package in order to stay at Milan.
The 27-year-old Turkey international had joined Milan from Bayer Leverkusen for €23m plus bonuses in July 2017 and his contract was allowed to run down.
Calhanoglu is the second Milan player to leave this summer as a free agent, after Gianluigi Donnarumma went to Paris Saint-Germain.
He made 172 competitive appearances in the Rossoneri jersey, scoring 32 goals and providing 48 assists.
