Match Report
Tottenham thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park to put themselves in the driving seat for Champions League football.
Maddison got on the end of a superb cross from Pape Matar Sarr to finish from close-range and open the scoring after 50 minutes.
Johnson doubled Tottenham's three minutes later when Villa gave the ball away close to their own goal. Son Heung-min played it wide to Johnson, whose rising shot found the back of the net.
John Mcginn was shown a straight red after 65 minute for a reckless challenge on Destiny Udogie.
Son finished from inside the box to make it three in stoppage-time before substitute Timo Werner made it four.
