Cristiano Ronaldo wants to bring in some former Real Madrid team-mates to close the gap between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.

Al-Hilal ran away with the league and left Ronaldo in tears in Friday's Kings Cup of Champions final.

Ronaldo holds a lot of weight in the club and Spanish outlet Marca report that he is actively trying to encourage them to sign two players.

The first of those is Casemiro, a player with whom the Portuguese won multiple Champions Leagues.

Casemiro looks set to leave Man United this summer with all signs pointing to the midfielder making his way to Saudi Arabia.

Marca claims Ronaldo believes the Brazilian will add the consistency that Al-Nassr need to keep with a team that have gone the entire season undefeated.

According to the report, Ronaldo has also started putting in the groundwork for the signing of another Madrid legend.

Spanish defender Nacho Fernandez was the man to lift the trophy at the end of Saturday's Champions League final and he has already informed the club of his intention to leave.

Marca say Ronaldo has called the Los Blancos captain over the past week in an attempt to make him consider a move to Al-Nassr instead of the MLS.
