Father of Tomori goes mad celebrating his son’s Derby side beating Man United

Derby fans and neutrals were celebrating across the country last night as Derby caused a monumental upset, dramatically eliminating Manchester United from the Carabao Cup in a penalty shootout.

Nobody was more elated than Fikayo Tomori's Father who proudly watched his son defend valiantly and play his part in the Rams' monumental victory.

The defender, currently on loan from Chelsea, posted a video to social media of his Dad jumping and dancing across the living room following Phil Jones' missed penalty.

Tomori's caption of 'Think it's fair to say my dad is happy tonight' was a massive understatement as the elation and joy overflowed the Tomori in the household.

Like most Chelsea academy players, Tomori has had his fair share of loans having joined up with Brighton and Hull before signing for Chelsea legend Frank Lampard at Derby.

The 20-year-old defender impressed in the Championship with Hull last season, racking up 25 appearances. He's already made eight in the league this season too and even scored in an earlier round of the Carabao Cup.

However, it will be difficult for Tomori to stand out with Derby with fellow loanees Mason Mount and Harry Wilson. Also joining from Chelsea, 19-year-old Mount has impressed at Pride Park and has already drawn comparisons to manager, Lampard.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's Wilson made the country take notice last night by scoring an incredible free-kick with an outstanding knuckleball which left Sergio Romero with no chance.
