The Italy international has agreed to move to the MLS outfit from the Serie A side on a five-year deal. The deal has been reported as paying him around $13 million per season. The 30-year-old's current deal expires on 30 June 2022.
Insigne is currently Napoli's captain as they look to win the Serie A title in the player's final season at the club. They also face Barcelona in what is one of the most anticipated fixtures of the next round of the Europa League.
Insigne key to Italy
On the international front, the diminutive forward will be looking to help Italy to clinch a Qatar 2022 World Cup spot after last summer's European Championship success.
In the current Serie A season, he has scored four goals for Napoli, who sit in third place behind Milan in second and league leaders Inter.
