How good Iniesta & Podolski are! They link up to force a BIZARRE own goal

Vissel Kobe succumbed to a 5-3 defeat to J1 League leaders Kawasaki Frontale two days ago, but their star men Andres Iniesta and Lukas Podolski had certainly combined to force one of the most bizarre own goals in history...

Iniesta chipped in an inviting through ball to the penalty box and Podolski chose to head it across the goal, forcing a defensive error from Kawasaki Frontale defender Elsinho, whose smashing clearance hit the back Tatsuki Nara and bounced back into the empty net.

The score was 1-1 after the bizarre own goal, and Vissel Kobe even doubled their lead at 35 minutes thanks to two assists from Podolski. Kawasaki Frontale fought back, however, and won the game 5-3.

Kawasaki Frontale sit comfortably at the top of J1 League table - four points clear of 2nd-placed Sanfrecce Hiroshima with just four games to play.
