Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are both said to be interested in Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.

Rudiger has reportedly opened contract talks with Chelsea but the 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Sky Sports have reported that the Germany international is in negotiations over a new three-year deal, which also includes an option for a further year.

Rudiger, whose current deal expires in the summer of 2022, had been in impressive form for Chelsea before the season was halted by the coronavirus outbreak.

He has made 16 appearances for Chelsea this term, scoring twice, which has taken his total tally to six goals in 105 appearances since his £31.5million move from Roma in 2017.

Meanwhile, striker Olivier Giroud is said to be keen on a move away from Chelsea.

Giroud wanted to join Inter Milan during the January transfer window but the Chelsea kept hold of him after being unable to sign a suitable replacement.
