Nelson Semedo has a contract with FC Barcelona until 2022 but it seems he has lost his place in the team. According to Bild, last summer he was not for sale, but Barça could now have changed their stance. A report in the German outlet says Bayern Munich are following his situation, with Tottenham also interested.

As reported in SPORT, Real Madrid's Álvaro Odriozola is Bayern's first option. Both Madrid and Bayern are open to do a deal, on loan at first, but if for some reason it doesn't go through, Semedo would be their next target.

A few weeks ago, Barça's sporting director met with Jorge Mendes, Semedo's agent, in Dubai. He communicated to Mendes that the club would open the door to an exit. A large part of the meeting focused on the clubs interested in doing a deal. Barça want to bring in money to balance their books at the end of the season.

At the moment Sergi Roberto is playing right-back, while Quique Setien may change to a back three. Moussa Wague is another option, while Barça could also choose to exercise an option they have to sign Real Betis' Emerson, who they co-own.
