Bellingham 'bashed' by teammates after admitting his mum makes his bed

Jordan Henderson couldn't help but take the mick out of his England team-mate, Jude Bellingham, after learning about how the 19-year-old's mum still makes his bed.

Bellingham has been a stand-out performer for the Three Lions at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and scored England's first goal of the tournament against Iran.

But, that didn't stop Henderson from 'bashing' the youngster - who earns £49,000-a-week at Borussia Dortmund - after finding out him mum still makes his bed at home.

It was Everton and England defender Conor Coady that told the Lion's Den about Henderson's interaction with Bellingham.

Speaking on England's YouTube channel, Coady admitted: 'Bellingham said something the other day about his mum making his bed, no word of a lie.

'We are talking about Jude Bellingham here, one of the best players in the world, and Hendo sat up at dinner and went 'What?' and Jude went 'Yeah, my mum makes my bed'. So Hendo was bashing and bashing him.'

Coady went on to speak about how Henderson has helped 'look after' Bellingham - despite taking the opportunity to poke fun at him earlier this week.

The Everton defender says Henderson and Kyle Walker are the perfect team-mates - claiming they 'set an example' for the rest of the squad.

Coady said: 'He [Henderson] looks after Jude like there is no tomorrow. Jude is a young lad, sometimes we forget that because he is so mature and a fantastic footballer. I would say someone like Henderson and [Kyle] Walker set the example.'

Bellingham has already drawn comparisons to some of England's greatest-ever midfielders, despite being the youngest member of the Three Lions squad.

Bellingham - who is now up to 19 caps for the Three Lions - demonstrated his superb ball control and mature decision-making during England's 3-0 win over Wales.

He also demonstrated his goal scoring ability during England's 6-2 win over Iran on Monday, November 21.
