Bayern Munich loanee Philippe Coutinho isn't thinking about returning to Barcelona and is fully focused on the job at hand in Germany.

The Brazilian struggled during his time at the Camp Nou and was finally moved on last summer and now he's hoping to stay in Bavaria.

"I'm very comfortable," he said.

"I plan to stay here for the year and I'm focused on my time here.

"If everything fits, then I'd love to stay."

Hans-Dieter Flick suffered his first loss on the Bayern bench on Saturday, but Coutinho is happy with his new boss.

"We understand his way of training and playing well," he explained.

"Things are going well because of that.

"Flick makes everyone feel important and we're happy, but we know there's a lot of work to do."

Bayern have the option to buy Coutinho outright for 120 million euros.
