Media Watch: Immobile dominates at Haaland’s home

Lazio star Ciro Immobile scored a crucial goal for the Biancocelesti away at Borussia Dortmund. ‘He dominated at Haaland’s home’.

The Norwegian striker was out of action against the Biancocelesti because of a knock to his hip sustained during a training session on the eve of the game.

The 20-year-old had scored in the first leg against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico back in October.

Ciro Immobile scored in both clashes. Last night he netted the equaliser from the spot in the second half and Borussia Dortmund’s goalkeeper Roman Burki made two vital saves to deny Immoible’s second and Lazio’s possible away win.

“He dominates at Haaland’s home,” write Il Corriere dello Sport that rates Immobile 8.

“He is enhanced as a former Borussia Dortmund player, as a captain and as a Golden Shoe winner. A mix of elasticity and power.”
