Snowfall in Munich ahead of Bayern Munich vs PSG

  /  autty

There was heavy snowfall in Bavaria on Wednesday morning, on the day that Bayern Munich are set to host Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

The conditions could prove a major factor in the outcome of the match between last season's finalists, based on the images published by the Bavarian club.

The snow has completely covered the city of Munich and Bayern's training ground, although the Allianz Arena is well equipped to deal with the conditions.

Temperatures are expected to be near zero degrees at the time of kick off, and further snowfall has not been ruled out.

Bayern are favourites for the clash, but the reigning European champions will have to do without Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.
