Dele Alli puts four-bed country home up for sale for £2.25m

Premier League star Dele Alli has put his modern four-bedroom investment country pad on the market - which is set to make him just £100,000 in five years.

The Tottenham ace bought the new build in July 2016 for £2.15million.

But its just gone on the market for £2.25million and it was thought to be the first investment of his property firm.

If it sells for the asking price he will make just five per cent more than he paid for it.

The England star - who didn't make the Euro 2020 squad and who has struggled to get into the Spurs team over the past couple of years - would likely have hoped to make a bigger profit on the first house in his portfolio.

The player has been linked with a move to the Midlands, with Aston Villa said to be interested in the midfielder.

The modern pad, set in an exclusive private estate, is situated near Borehamwood in leafy Hertfordshire, close to Tottenham's training ground.

The detached house has more than 4,000 square feet of space set over three floors.

There are four bedrooms, each of which has an en suite bathroom.

The master suite also has a stunning walk-in wardrobe attached to it.

The basement has a bar, wine cellar, gym and cinema room.

The huge manicured garden is kitted out with a basketball court, and looks out over an exclusive golf course.

There is space for three cars in the driveway, which is in a special private estate along with six other detached houses.

Estate agent Stantons, which is marketing the property, said: 'A rare opportunity to acquire this impressive four-bedroom detached family home situated in a secure private development in the heart of Elstree.

'Set behind electronic gates and built approximately five years ago, it offers over 4,000 sq ft of modern living accommodation set over three floors.

'Features include versatile open-plan living space finished to the highest specification, and stunning greenbelt views of Hertfordshire and beyond.'

It is thought the house was bought by Dele as an investment with his Premier League millions.

Shortly after purchasing the four-bedroom house, he set up Future Homes Investments Ltd.

Dele is listed as a director on Companies House, along with Harry Hickford - who the Tottenham star refers to as his brother.

It says the company's business is 'letting and operating of owned or leased real estate'.

Harry is the son of Alan Hickford, the building firm boss who brought him up from his early teens as his football career began to flourish.

The pair were both on the books of MK Dons before the star's £5 million move to Tottenham, which launched his England career.

Dele has now played 171 times for Spurs and helped lead them to the Champions League final in 2019.

He has played 37 times for England, and scored in the World Cup quarter final in Russia in 2018.

The investment property is NOT the pad that was broken into in May last year when knife-wielding thugs made off with his watch collection.
